Book Grants 2026

We aim to support the most active libraries and help them enrich their collections with new books, making reading even more accessible for communities.

As a result of the competition, 30 libraries will receive book packages (at least 80 new books) to replenish their collections. The packages will also include titles from the Bibliotherapeutic Book Database.

This is an opportunity to:

• update library collections

• offer readers new contemporary literature

• strengthen the role of libraries as cultural centres of their communities

The competition is organized by the Ukrainian Publishers and Booksellers Association in partnership with the Charitable Organization “Library Country” Charity Foundation and the “Kharkiv Communities – Toloka” Charity Foundation, with the support of the Stiftung Buchkultur und Leseförderung des Börsenvereins des Deutschen Buchhandels (Foundation for Book Culture and Reading Promotion of the German Publishers and Booksellers Association, Germany).
